Previously released in Japan, the Shiny Tapu Koko Event is now live in North America (the same region as US, Asian, & MDE) as well!
Follow the instructions below to get your own Shiny Tapu Koko in Pokemon Sun and Moon. Remember to update your 3DS firmware before you do this to save time.
Instructions
- Load your copy of Pokemon Sun or Pokemon Moon.
- At the title screen, pick "Mystery Gift".
- Choose "Receive Gift".
- Select Yes.
- Choose Get Via Internet.
- Select Yes.
- You can get Shiny Tapu Koko from the Event NPC inside any Pokemon Center in-game.
This event is tied to the Shiny Tapu Koko TCG (Trading Card Game) release. The event will run until August 14, 2017. It's nature is locked to Timid, perfect if you are aiming for a standard EV distribution of 252 in both Special Attack and Speed.
